Greetings! My name is Deborah Pierce, and I am truly humbled at the prospect of being of service to you. From 1987 through 1994 I was blessed to overcome some devastating illnesses: I have overcome a major stroke that rendered me paralyzed on the left side of my body which, as a result, the doctors' prognosis was that I would never walk again without the use of a walker, nor function as a normal adult because of the extent of brain damage I had sustained. I have also overcome two bouts with cancer (ovarian & colon), and was blessed to overcome both cancers in the 4th stage. How is this possible?
Through the grace of Yah I was blessed to meet some wonderful people in the Holistic field of Healing who guided me through the study of Anatomy and Physiology, and helped me, through body awareness, to discover my own physical, emotional, mental and spiritual strengths and weaknesses. As the result, I have been able to enhance my strong areas and strengthen my weak ones. Hence, today, I am clinically well and disease free ~Praise Yah!
In addition to Anatomy & Physiology, I had also studied Iridology, Herbology and other holistic approaches to health and healing before finally graduating from the Cittone Institute as a Massage Therapist in April 2005. Since graduation, I have received certification in Nutrition and Kinesiology (Muscle Testing), and have been practicing therapeutic massage ~ concentrating on my techniques and their associated benefits, recognizing the relevance of a solid rapport with my clients ~ and valuing my sincere, open and honest interactions with respect and appreciation for the individuality of each person.
Above all I esteem the spiritual aspect of life giving it priority over all others, and strive to maintain a healthy balance in my own life. I am calm, compassionate and competent, which enables me to more accurately relate and respond to the various needs of my clients. Hi! My name is Dominique, and I am the proud mother of three beautiful children, two boys and one girl. My youngest son was born with Spina Bifida (a developmental birth defect affecting the nervous system and causing irregular development of the back bones, spinal cord, surrounding nerves, and the fluid filled sac that surrounds the spinal cord), which became my inspiration for becoming a massage therapist.
My education and skills as a massage therapist have brought great comfort to my son and his siblings, and have afforded me the privilege of helping others as well.
I am a graduate of Cittone Institute (2006) and my specialties are: Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Chair Massage and Soft-touch Full Body Massage ~
